This Privacy Policy explains how TT Tournament ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the app to register for, organize, or follow table tennis tournaments.

Information we collect

We collect the following information when you use the App:

• Player profile information: name, date of birth, club/team affiliation, and a profile photo (taken via your camera or chosen from your photo library).
• Tournament data: registrations, match results, scores, and rankings associated with your profile.
• Account & role information: if you are a tournament organizer or admin, your login credentials and permission level.
• Device and technical data: basic technical information (such as app version and device type) needed to keep the app running correctly. We do not use this data for advertising or tracking.

How we use this information

We use collected information only to operate the App's core features:

• Registering players and displaying profiles
• Generating group draws and knockout brackets
• Recording and displaying live scores and match results
• Computing and publishing rankings
• Allowing organizers and admins to manage tournaments

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Where your data is stored

Data is stored on our own servers (SERVER LOCATION) and is not shared with external analytics, advertising, or data-broker services.

Photos

Profile photos you upload are visible to other participants and spectators of the tournament(s) you are registered in, since they are shown on match scoreboards and brackets. You can update or remove your photo at any time by editing your profile admin.

Children's privacy

Table tennis tournaments often include junior players under 18. Where a player is a minor, we expect their profile to be created and managed by a parent, guardian, or club/organizer acting on the family's behalf, and consent to registration to be obtained accordingly. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children without such involvement.

Data retention

We retain tournament and profile data for as long as needed to operate past and upcoming tournaments (e.g., historical rankings). You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at wedev_service@yahoo.com; note that some tournament records (e.g., match results) may be retained in anonymized form for historical/ranking integrity.

Your rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting wedev_service@yahoo.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable data protection law, including Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
